Is CBD safe for pets?
It’s important to remember that the FDA has not approved any prescription or over-the-counter CBD products for use in animals. Although we need more studies to confirm its benefits, many pet parents already use CBD with great results. It is always best to discuss using CBD with a veterinarian who has experience treating pets with CBD before starting anything new.
What CBD Dosage for Pets?
Since there aren’t any FDA-approved dosages for use in animals, further research is needed to determine more exact doses. If your veterinarian recommends CBD, make sure to follow their instructions since dosing may vary depending on why you are using the product.

Many pet parents follow these simple dosage recommendations:

For overall health or a beginner dose use 2mg of CBD per 10 pounds of body weight daily.

For severe pain/episodes or an advanced dose use 4mg of CBD per 10 pounds of body weight daily.
For best results the daily CBD dosages can be divided into two separate sessions (AM & PM).
EASY to Dose
All of our CBD tinctures are formulated with the same concentration of CBD (50mg/1mL). This makes it easy to dose daily. As shown in this diagram, 1mL=50mg, .75mL=37.5mg, .50mL=25mg and .25mL=12.5mg of CBD.
Smaller measurements for dosing can be used per drop. There are approximately 40 drops in 1mL and with a concentration of 50mg/1mL each drop equals approximately 1.25mg of CBD.

Nanoemulsion
Nanoemulsion is a technique used in manufacturing pharmaceuticals or biomedicine. Ultrasonic waves are used to shatter CBD molecules into tiny "nanoparticles", a fraction of their original size. By utilizing this technology our full spectrum CBD extracts become more bioavailable (easily obsorbed into the blood-stream), easier to use for consistent dosing, fast-acting, and has an extended shelf life.
